Eppley Provides Accessibility Training for Tennessee State Employees

For the fifth time, the Eppley Center for Parks and Public Lands is proud to partner with the State of Tennessee to offer an exciting, three-day workshop, “Accessibility for Parks & Recreation Providers”! This workshop, part of Eppley’s National Center on Accessibility, will be hosted by the State of Tennessee at the beautiful Lodge at Fall Creek Falls in Spencer, Tennessee.

With the convenience of just an hour from Chattanooga, this workshop has attracted parks and recreation professionals from various sectors, including municipal, state, and non-profit.

Topics will include accessibility v. usability, service animals, mobility devices, interpretation and exhibits, trails, and water access, just to name a few.

Attendance is full, but if you would like more information on hosting a custom workshop at your location, please contact Colleen Durkin-Blackburn at cadurkin@iu.edu.
